Camel Shrimp reef safe???

Hello fellow reefers. I just had a few quick questions on camel shrimps. I have read that these little guys are not reef safe. I believe it said it will pick on non-poisonous anemones and some soft corals. Also I have read that they usually will tolerate other shrimp. In my tank I have SPS corals a peppermint shrimp and a cleaner shrimp. Will it be safe to add this camel shrimp to my reef? Do any of you have a similar setup with camel shrimp?

i had one in my reef tank that i ended up feeding to my mantis after i noticed my anenomne missing some limbs and some damage done to the base of it. never had a problem since with missing limbs or any damage now that its gone.

so i would say no to being reef safe.

I'm not sure about SPS, but back when I started a reef, I got a Leather Coral and they started to strip the skin. So out they went. And I had to remove all the rock to do so. I wouldn't do it. It's not worth it, just stickwith the shrimp you have. JMO

Camel shrimp are not reef safe. Which is why most LFS have trouble selling them. They are peaceful with other shrimp and fish (when well fed).

Yes and no. They will pick at most corals, but some they will leave alone, they are beautiful, but don't take any chances.
