Camera for Apex

What "web cam" do you use to pair with your apex?

I bought this 1080p IP camera and it works really well. It can zoom in 4x and it can turn 360 degrees around and 180 degrees up/down and the app works great on my android.

Uokoo IP Camera

You can mostly use the mobile app, or if you know how to port forward your router, there is a nice web-based browser friendly version as well.

I just use an old iPhone 4 I had laying around that wasn't being used .
A cheap 1.99 app is all that is needed . IPCamera app .

Cost me next to nothing, and it works great . I use fusion, and can view my tank from my iPhone 6 (or any computer) anywhere I am using the fusion interface .

Here is a great tutorial on how to set it all up .............helped me a lot .

You can even pick up a used iPhone 4 (or newer) on craigslist for cheap if you dont have one. It just has to be able to access your wireless router at home .

So do you have that camera on all the time?

Yep, since its integrated into Apex Fusion ...........other than possible slight overuse of bandwidth every month , it just stays live at all times so I can check on the tank whenever I want to . Its pretty much a private webcam basically.

There are better options, I am sure , but the iPhone 4 route is a cheap option and readily available to put into use.
