Camo tang? From yellow to white?

I recently noticed my yellow tang began turning white from his bright deep yellow. I feed him a mix of foods from squid, krill, seaweed delight(frozen food), and nori pices. Any ideas as to why its changing collor. Also it seams mostly white at night time.

normal nightime colours, alot of fish get lighter at night.

They also change colors when they are stressed out or p'd off.

Could it happen if they do not eat enough vegitation? Mine seams to prefer the meaty foods i give the other fish. But will eat nori sheets if there on the food clip. Also does occasionaly graze on the live rock.

Is he constantly white or just at night or when he is startled? If it is a constant thing you may want to check parameters to make sure there isn't something stressing him. If it's just at night or when he is startled, then it is completely normal for this and many other fish.

Well he is noticeably white at night, but more often then not it will last through-out the day. Im really boggled at his apearence, but other then his color change he seams healthy.

One Hornedbox fish ( not too sure of his exact species)
One scooter bleny
One lawnmower bleny
One Black with yellow tail, Angelfish
One Manderin
One valentine puffer
One Cant remember the name( Yellow with pink top, slim fish)

And of course snails, hermit crabs, clams, copods.....
