can a mantis kill or munch on a anemone

I have a mantis shrimp in my tank that I haven't bin able to catch yet
I introduced 3 anemones in to my tank 4 days ago and today one of them looks dead and has a piece chewed up yesterday I fed it some shrimp and it was fine so I know that whatever happened was during the night
I have in the tank.

1-yellow tang
1- sailfin tang
9- damsels
2- clowns
50- blue hermits
50 -snails
150 LB base rock
60 LB live rock
water parameters are fine
do you think the mantis could have killed it?

My mantis have never bothered anemones. It may be possible the mantis went after the food you fed to the anemone, but I have not seen that occur.

What type of anemone is it?

Looks like an atlantic condy/haitian but at that size and condition it is possible it is something else.
