Can a Pink Skunk live with a Maroon?

I have a 70g tank with a Maroon who hosts in a Frogspawn. I purchased a LTA about 6 months ago hoping the Maroon would host with it but it has never given it a look. I know you are not supposed to mix clowns but I searched and found a few threads where people have mixed these two but just wanted everyones feedback before I get a Skunk.

Most likely the maroon will make short change of the skunk.
Have you tried moving the frogspawn?
Maybe place the frog in sump for a short while?
I'm really surprised your maroon isn't in there already.

Thanks, I will look into another type of fish. I am not allowed on her side of the tank. I have the scars to prove it. The last time I was able to move the frogspawn was when I drained the old tank to move it to this one. She is a model citizen to the other fish in the tank but is the meanest fish I have ever seen towards people.

That's typical of maroons, and expect that same behavior towards a new clown of different species.
Even same species/maroon can be difficult to pair up.
I always use to wear a shiny watch when messing w/ my tank, and she would hit the reflection instead of me, maybe that, or gloves might help.
My thoughts are if she lost her frogspawn for a short period, she most likely will seek another host, and most likely the nem, then when she realizes or gets used to it, she may stay there, or travel back and forth from nem to frog, maybe one day sticking to just new nem.
