Can a powder blue and powder brown coexist in a 150g?

Most fish store owners say yes, obviously to sell their fish. I was told to add them at the same time, that didnt work. Someone else said to add a bigger powder blue since i already had a small sized powder brown; that didnt work either as the powder brown mutilated the blue even though he was smaller. I love them both, but if it cannot be done i guess i will have to just choose the one i like more and forget about the other :(

Definitely not!!! They will fight to the death

I'm not really sure what is going on at the moment but there are lots of people pushing the boundaries with Powder blue/brown and Achilles tangs at the moment. I don't really understand why to be honest (not having a go at anyone just an observation) as it hardly ever ends well in anything but public aquaria.
There are so many adding powder blues and Achilles in particularly (or two powders) and I just don't get why you even think two ornery fish would get along for more than a short period.

So basically I wouldn't do it if I were you. If your powder brown is still ok keep that as they tend to be easier to mix with other fish in the long run.

100% can't be done in a 150g, even if you could stop them from killing each other, these fish are so sensitive to stress that you'd be constantly combating disease and instead of watching a relaxing coral reef you'd just be watching two fish picking at each other all the time.......but stopping them killing each other would be your first battle.
It's a shame, we'd all like to be able to keep multiple tangs of the same genus but it just can't be done in a 150g unfortunately

To play devil's advocate, it can be done. I have a friend that had them in a 90 corner for 2 years before he upgraded to a 240. Having said that, you're a moron if you try it, he was VERY much the exception, and not the rule. He bought them before doing any research, and got stupid lucky.
