I have an anemone that I believe is a BTA. It's tentacles are dark green but do not have the "bubble" look to them. The tentacles are densely packed together making it slightly hard to distinguish the overall shape of the anemone. The oral disc is a light shade of purple, and his foot is light green.
It's been in the tank for one month now and has been fine until this past week. During the day it moves around the tank and looks like it's beginning to melt. I thought for sure it was going to die. However, at night once the light goes off it returns to normal and plants itself in the original spot it started in at the beginning of the day as if nothing was ever wrong.
I have T5 lighting with new bulbs and the water parameters are all fine (ask if you want me to post them). I have another anemone in the tank which is doing great, and no other animals seem distressed.
Is it possible that the lighting is too stong for the anemone?
