I have at least 2 of these in my tank. They came in as hitchhikers on my rock. I used to think they were a type of mushroom  but now I am wondering if they are anemones. They have grown a little though the guy in the picture is only about 1/4" across. The other one is maybe 1/2" but is in a place where it's harder to photograph. They have moved several times and I thought there were more because I kept seeing them different places.

the color in the picture is pretty true and, though the picture doesn't show it, he has an oral disk with a slash type mouth. The tentacles bubble a little on the ends, too.

Do you guys think these are baby anemones? Could they be BTAs? I got the rock from Premium Aq and it's a mix so I'm not sure where it's from but it's not Florida rock.

Here's a pic - sorry it's not too clear, he was really hard to focus on.

It would be so cool if they were BTAs!!!

Thanks - Laurie

Yeah, I just reluctantly Joe's Juiced them. I found a big old aptasia so he got it, too.

Thanks for the info. I was all excited thinking I had a couple of free BTAs:rolleyes:
