Hi guys

Do any of you know what this fish is? My LFS has a few of them but I have no idea what they are. They look like something that could grow quite big?

Flagtail grunt, they can get big, i have seen a group in a 500g tank that are a little over a foot long. They are very, very active, disease resistant, and not picky eaters, nor are they aggressive.

One of my first lessons in this hobby: Never buy anything from dealers who don't know what they're selling.

+1 I always get some weird information that they don't know anything about and when I get home with it I have to take it back because I was misinformed! Anyways not I always take my phone with me and google the fish while I'm there or ask a fellow reefer :)

Kuhlia mugil. They are a good schooling fish, reef safe, but as stated can get pretty big for the average tank.
