how many slots? i have been doing slots with a scroll saw. i am having a template made from steel so i can router but that will be a while yet. if you don't need them absolutely perfect, i could do them.
Never tried it. But do the plunge style and cutting of a rotozip able to do both the entrance and side cutting of the slots cleanly and more importantly not strain the teeth of the slots in Acrylic? I used one on wood and it was slow going through a roof for my solatubes, but it did cut almost perfect and was very controllable. A couple other power tools wanted to walk too much and were much better at steering a crooked line than giving a perfect cut.
Re: can anyone put slits in acrylic for an overflow for me?

i could do it for you too i use a milling machine they comeout perfect lookjust like storebought orabout 95% as good in black it should look awsome 1\8 inch isnt that a lil thin i use 1\4 in for that stuff ?
Yeah it seems like 6"x4" will bow pretty bad unless it is a really shallow overflow like 4" or less deep. I am not an engineer but I think maybe 1/4" would be better for that application.
