Can anyone Tell me the name of this invert?

We have 5 of these that came on a piece of live rock.

Majano anemones, they spread like wild fire.

Are they a good thing or bad thing? Do they grow big? Thankyou for telling me...been trying to find out for days!

They don't get any bigger than a nickle but will cover the tank without control (Joe's Juice), they can aggravate other corals such as the zoos in the picture and take the space they would want to spread to. They can be attractive in large groups but also a nuisance.

And there's me thinking they are prob little nemo homes! They move around aswell...couple fell off the rock whilst in the bag from LFS. They have settled now... Damn just got rid of Aiptasia...

I have this crab also, been told to get him out aswell do u agree? any idea what he's called.... and how to catch him!

I had one of these hitchhikers once and it didn't bother anything in my tank. I think some of these hairy crabs will eat on sps coral, I don't know the name but here's a link that might help ID him.

That's ok...thanks anyway... been looking at other Picture's of Majano, None have white tips like mine... are they def majano do you think?

Yes, some are pink, green, brown, I have some like the ones in your picture.
