Can Apex control led moonlight strip?

I have a led moonlights that run off a variable 0 - 12 dc volt, 500 mA output.

Can the apex control this led strip with variable phases and not just on/off?

Can I program it to the moon phases?

Do I need the apex or can the apex lite do this?

I doubt it. The variable voltage ports on the Apex don't put out much more than 10ma of current (and operate only to 10vdc).

You can give it fully ON/OFF control by using an EB8 outlet but you wouldn't have dimming.

You can tie it to moon phases but again, only on/off.
