Can birdsnest/millipora get red bugs?

I've had to treat for red bugs before and my tank is a 75 gal tank w/ 30 sump/refuge. I dosed about a 1/4 to a 1/3 and had no ill effects except some hermits dying and some crabs. My fish are never effected. Maybe it has to do with O2 levels when treating. I know that the skimmer has got to be turned off and that contributes to C02 building up. It's never been a problem for me but it may for other setups.

That stinks MSM. Yea, I think people need to make sure they are careful because I still think we all don't know what it can do. I haven't added a coral in a long time since I'm packed full but I'll be super picky.

That's funny jay, I haven't added a coral either since I consolidated into this tank because it was full, and the red bugs showed up out of no where after 6 months clean.
