I had a recent outbreak of possible brook or flukes and the fish in the QT tank were previously treated with CP and Prazipro. Only thing that was different was that I started feeding blood worms that are kept in freshwater and purchased from a local fish store. The worms are kept in the stores fridge and looked really healthy. I didn't rinse the worms before I first started feeding, but do rinse them every day. Is it possible that I could have brought the parasites home in the water, and if so, would rinsing them before feeding be a good idea or fix it?
Can brook / flukes be transported with blood worms in freshwater?
