can clams be on each other?

I've got 2 crocea's...

The one clam moved and is kinda rubbing mantle to mantle with the other clam, neither seem to mind, I just wonder if it will cause something bad slowly down the road to them

if they over lap the one on the top may block out the light and cause the other to bleach

I have plenty of light so it is not a problem. They do not fight like corals. My clams don't even mind zoas or rics touching the mantel. I even saw a guy with zenia growing on the shell with no ill effects.

so its ok for them to just touch mantles a little bit?

I move the one time and time again, but it seems to be comfy just touching the other clam a bit, they are both wide open, but I wanted to make sure this will have no ILL effect
