Can I add a 2nd chamber to a Ca Reactor?

I have a Knop HD reactor that is not meeting my Ca and Alk demands. Rather than buy a bigger reactor, can I add a 2nd chamber after the first, to increase the media load? Would this have any negative effects? Any advice is welcome. Thanks in advance.

yes you can add a second chamber to the Calcium reactor, and no it not any negative effects that i know, maybe you want to add a kalkwasser reactor as well for your top off water

I just finished putting together a 2nd chamber in hopes of removing any extra C02 coming out of the reactor.
3" pvc capped on the bottom, a 3/16" hose fitting inserted towards the bottom for inlet from reactor, mesh on the inside just above the fitting, filled with araganite. The flow tends to be more even when directed from the bottm then up and out.
