Can I add a marine Plant to my FOWLR tank

Curious, would it be ok to add a beginner marine plant to my 75 gall FOWLR tank to add some color without converting to reef setup?

If yes, any suggestions?

thanks

The only reason it wouldn't make it is if the light's aren't enough for it, the nutrients are not what it wants or something in the tank eats it.

Don't use Caulerpa whatever you do. (invasive, persistent, toxic, and dangerous to tank) Outside of that, no problem.

An alternative is discosoma mushrooms---don't let them onto a rock you really want to keep...but few fish will touch them and the reds, greens, and purples are both hardy and move nicely in the current. They eat fish poo. Plus if they fold up and look unhappy, they'll give you warning of a water quality issue.

Here is a photo of my DT.
Would I put them on the sand bed?

With the fish you have, Tang & Foxface, you probably couldn't put any plant in there and have it last more than a couple of meals. I have a foxface and it eats any plant or algae it can find. Give the mushrooms a try.
