Can I do it?

I never thought I could keep a Seahorse in my tank - I was always told they were too hard to keep but then I saw this and it got me thinking..

Now I ask you is it a good idea, I have a TOMs 3 gallon nano thats been up about a year now. Equipment: only the filter pump is running, 18W PCs, 1 25W flat nano type heater. In regards to live stock I have 1 clown goby 3 blue legged hermit crabs, a lot of stomatellas, many different zoos, 2 Acans, 1 blaso, several mushrooms, 1 hammer, 1 recordia, 1 GSP, and some macro algae in it.
Is there anything that might be a deal breaker?
And if I can, any recommendations on species?

I appreciate the help,
Will

You are aware the seahorse in melev's nano died, right? No, it is not a good idea to keep ANY of the larger seahorses in a tank that small.

No, I was not aware that his died.
I was very surprised to see it in his tank
I guess this would not be a wise move

Thanks for my sanity check

Three gallons is way too small for a full sized SH, but ideal for dwarf sea horses. But! Dwarf seahorses are more work than their larger cousins, and will make delicious snacks for most of your corals. ;)

Poor gasper :'(

I havent kept horses but ive always wanted too, I think I could keep them alive since ive been doing this non stop studying them and everything for the past 2 years now..
