ok at the 99 cent store there was some raw salad shrimp that i thought would work well for some variety for my clown it says raw and if there are any ingrediants i should look out for let me know, please help other wise im feeding tommarow morning/afternoon

my concerns would be the water they were cleaned and kept in from the manufacurer throughout shipment till use. the other is they loose alot of their nutrients being cleaned/deveined and headless. protiens would be low from soaking in freshwater (manufacturing/shipping) so you pretty much would have a nitrate filled water with "possible" phosphates and ammonia. IMO, i would not use them. goto the seafood dept. at your grocery and get whole shrimp or freeze-dryed krill for your LFS. have a great day, happy reefin!

Yeah, not my first choice either, but I did feed raw shrimp in the past.
Silversides are better.
As long as you have good lighting I wouldn't stress hard about feeding.
Just get some silvers when you can.
