Can I get the color back on my purple death?

My purple turning orange/red. New polys are still purple. Moving the colony to lesser light.

Could it be something else.

It is at the bottom of the tank directly under 2 * 150W 10,000K and 4 39W T5.

Moving it to the side, a little shaded.

I cant recall of the top of my head, but morphii is doing right by giving the purple deaths more shade, under the light described, to get back it proper color, right?

MIne started like that purple with 6 polyps, now it has grown to about 12 but most of them have lost their color.

Only the baby polys are that color, maybe I have given too much direct light.

How long before they can recover?

Mine took a while actually. Some of the baby polyps actually came out blue then as they got bigger slowly turned purple. But when I had tank issues with KH/ph , lost coral and stressed out a lot of the polyps. My PD's turned pale or brown again. and the cycle starts over again.

I dont know if this helps but I bleached my tubbs blues, and it took about 6 weeks for the color to come back under 4 24" t5's.

I keep my purple deaths at the top of my tank and I have T5s.They like it.

I kept my PD right under 250W about 8" they grew super fast but they turn into a brownish color.
