can i glue PEX

Does anyone know if i can glue PEX to pvc with regular pvc cement? I can't find CPVC near me, and the pex is the right size. I want to glue it into a cpvc fitting, and glue to a piece of pvc.

In short... no

PEX is polyethylene, not much sticks to it. You can try to rough it up and use plastic epoxy.

I don't have any good pictures of my setup but I am using the flex tubing without glue or pipe clamps of any kind and am not having any problems with leaking at the joints of the flex at all. Not sure your application but I just used the grey PVC barb fittings that had barb on one side and threads on the other. Barb into the flex and then threaded into what I was connecting to. Not that big of a deal for what I was wanting to do. If it is really needed I can try and get some pictures of my setup.
