Standard 29 gallon tank with a 4 bulb t5 lighting fixture. Puts out 3.3 wpg if that matters. If not, a simple no will be accepted(I'm not one to do the wrong thing just because I want to), if so which species would you reccomend. Ideally I want a haddoni but they get a bit too big...and I've kept a 75 lps/softy reef for around 10 months with no issues, but I can't put an anemone in there because it also only has a 4 bulb t5 fixture and I know that's just not enough. Thanks for any info.

You could keep a BTA (Entacmaea quadricolor) with your light, size tank. Research this species for their needs, e.g. they require liverock to attach.

Definitely a bulb would work but it will own the tank when it gets big. Could put some shrooms in with them.:fish1:

Uhh I'm considering a green bta and a red one and just let them have the whole tank with a mated pair of clowns. And maybe a jawfish.

That sounds like a good plan. Do cover your powerhead intakes, until they find their spot they tend to wander and get sucked into things.

BTA would work for you. you can try to place a pieces of PVC pipe in the location you want the BTA to stay and put the base of the BTA in it. that has worked for me in the past and tends to keep them from free floating into powerheads. Just as a tip from my experience. make sure all your levels are stable and as close to perfect as you can get them. If a anenome releases itself off a rock its due to poor water quality and its trying to float into a new area, but in any home tank its into the powerhead. If it attaches to a rock and crawls around on the rock its just trying to find a good light spot and should settle in a few days, hope that helps you. If you can get a clown to host it, its even better because they will feed the nem for you. Good luck and keep us updated.

On the other side of things i would personally stay away from jawfish unless you have a deep tank. every person i know who has/had jawfish have lost them almost 80% of the time due to them jumping. Just be careful with them and try to get a full cover they can not jump through. Some people get lucky and have a jawfish that stays around its cave and lives a happy life.

Yea my powerhead aren't real powerful, but ill definitely watch out and as for the jawfish, I'm going to look into getting a mesh net perhaps to cover the top.
