Would I be able to keep GSP's in my 40 gallon with my Orbit dual 96 PC's? Anyone got pics of theirs under similar conditions?
Thanks!
Thanks!

you could, easily, keep any soft coral and probably any LPS with that lighting.

Bubble coral, almost certainly. It likes low light. So does maze brain, though it's a bit crankier. Remember you have stringent parameters to meet: no ammonia, nitrate, nitrite; alk 8.3-9.3, salinity 1.025, temp 80, cal 420, mg 1250. That will stabilize your water params and help general tank health anyway; and yes, you should be able to keep some stonies. And keep that green star on a separate rock or rubble pile and away from structural rock! You'll thank me later for that advice.
Check out a thread in the newbie forum about Is Keeping Corals So Hard? We're discussing a lot about minimum requirements.

I cooked my rocks with GSP and mushrooms on it for about a year (waiting for new tank setup). I recently took them out and both are still alive. i was hoping they would all be dead
well since i can grow them in complete darkness for 365+ days, i think your lighting should be enough.![]()
