I have my reef 90gallon main tank
My hospital tank 35g
I don't know how to use the copper
But I have bottle of kordon ich attack 100% natural herbal formula
I'm not sure if it do any good
Plus garlic mix with food

The 35 gal QT/HT will be fine. BUT, was this tang exposed to other fish in your system? If so, ALL fish need to be treated and the DT left fishless for 12 weeks. Please let us know what fish have been exposed to the tang, even if they show no symptoms of ich, and someone will walk you through this. In the mean time, get the 35 gal. tank set up. I would also get lots of sw made, you will probably need it.

Garlic will not cure ich, this is one of the biggest myths in the hobby. Ich attack, or any known "herbal" remedy won't do anything either. I'd read the ich stickies at the top of the disease forum. (at least the initial post) so you know what what you're dealing with.

IMO & IME; The only ways to kill ich are tank-transfer, copper, and probably Chloroquine Phosphate. CP is tough to get and my experience is very limited; but the folks who are advocating its use are very good reefers. TT is my 1st choice if you just have one fish . Copper isn't difficult, but has to be done carefully fish. IMO & IME, it will always work if done precisely.

Free! Got job.

Use copper to treat in QT at once.

Do you have anything in the DT that is likely acting as nitrification filter, as as sponges or clean sock that no longer has uneaten food collected. Any thing clean has no decayable material attached on it that is now in the DT can be used.

Otherwise do WC.

Save this fish!

I have no fish in my DT it's just full of corals and clams,
My tang never been in my DT at all,
My QT is 3 month old with 6" LS and 30lb LR,
I will do WC this weekend ,
Ill keep using garlic with the food but ill go and buy copper
I hop he will be bater :)

Garlic won't do anything. Just do the copper treatment with Cupramine. Raise it slowly, and measure by ML's instead of drops..

You don't want to use copper in a QT with live sand or rock

Copper will kill corals and clams. LR & substrate absorb and release copper. This makes testing copper impossible and proper copper levels important at all times. Quit worrying about the garlic. You need a QT/HT or this hobby won't last long.

I do have QT I have no livestock in my QT :)
I have dip sand 6" bed and 30lb LR in my QT
