Can I keep this with BTA's?

Hi all, I just saw this on ebay and am wondering what you guys thought. I have about BTAs in my tank and wondering if you think this would be ok with them. It looks a bit dull in the pictures, but I am hoping it would colour up in time.

Yeah, I'm from the uk but you guys on this forum have so much more knowledge so would appreciate your input.

BTW, this is a Gigantea right? Compared to magnificas, how hard are these to keep?

Looks like a gig to me. But we are going to need more info, like how big is your system, flow lighting, and filtration for starters looks like a very nice one

I have a 175g system including sump. 2 MP 40's and just bought a Vertex LED lighting. Been going for a number of years now. I've not had much luck with magnificas so just fancy trying something different. Are these harder to keep than mags?

If healthy, mine have been so from the start, they are pretty hardy. They are intertidal nems and that right there tells you that they withstand fluctuations on a regular basis unlike most tropical nems. Mine so far have acted like my intertidal Coldwater nems. Please read the cipro sticky and buy some cipro and have it on hand. Also i would qt it before introduction to your DT. The trickiest part is acclimation and many get sick initially. I would take a look at the mouth to see that its not gaping open. But I have no experience keeping them with BTA's unfortunately. I'm sure someone will chime in. IMO you system is big enough assuming you use carbon.

Have you noticed which is the boss? ie who moves away from the other? that's a lot of variety in there, how big is your tank?

it is a 250 dd tank. each anemone is on a separate island, so there is no noticeable interaction.
