I only have 2 green dwarf seahorse and one pipefish that's all/
What hydroids are you talking about?

Hydroids are tiny jellyfish-like critters that have a tendency to pop up in saltwater tanks. They are no problem with larger fish but they can kill dwarf seahorses. Thats why most dwarf keepers treat their tanks with panacur. Google "hydroids" and see if you can get some pics of them. They are very very small and look like tiny stars on the glass (like this *) or like tiny swimming jellyfish, depending on the stage they are in.

I keep the razor caulerpa, feather caulerpa, red grape, dragons tongue, codium, halimenia, prolifera, and turtle grass. I tried to get the manatee grass to grow, but I didn't have any luck with it. The turtle grass is so so for now. I don't think I had enough mud in the sandbed for the seagrasses. I will try more grasses as the tank ages and there are more nutrients in the sandbed for them.

The tank is lit with 4~ 54w T5's (48") 2-10k and 2- actinic blue

*** note***

QT or do a FW dip on ALL of your macros. I didn't on my reds and now I have clear flatworms in this tank. I have tried FlatWorm exit and it didn't get rid of all of them. I may have to do it again. They do not hurt anything, just unsightly. I hate them.

-And the H. comes tank that's still up. Looks different now though.

I only have one SH tank up atm, dedicated to just one Tiger-Tail Seahorse, at least until I have all of my tanks moved to the new location.
