wow guys really awesome tanks.. I have 2 more days to decide which aquascaping I will copy :) j/k... Seems like majority has either school of athias and Green chromis...

I am planning on having like 15-18 fishes is that too much?

Right now the fish I have on my 75 and will be go to 180 are..

Tomini Tang
Foxface
Sixline
1 bartlett anthias
2 chromis
Gold stripe maroon

planning on adding 4 more athias and 3 more chromis and also a hippo tang ... any other fish I should consider adding... thinking about Purple tang but not sure if 3 tangs is ok ... thanks

be careful what you wish for.... my frags became large in a matter of about 18months... once they all get really big... then whatdya do? answer to that is simple unless your house is too small for a larger tank :(

is it me or is that carpet HUGE!

man i would be affraid of that it must be like fear factor everday for your fish lol cn if they can survive!

lol nice tank

Kip... True hey what do you think about the Maristar Lighting cuz thats the one I am going to use hope it works pretty good for the money I paid for it..... most of my stuff are frags so it will take a while to see them grow in a colony ... as the matter of fact I pm'ed you 2 months ago for frags but u never replied back :( hehe

JJJimmy .. tanks is also awesome and that carpet is nice and huge and just chillin on the side.....

Thanks guys. I really try not to think about the $$ of fish that the carpet made a meal out of. It is approximately 24" when fully expanded and that depends on the day.

What really $ucks is that every time that I go to put in a new fish, even though I put it in on the opposite side, my dominant fish end up always chasing it towards the carpet sending me into near cardiac arrest.

ok here is my 180 gallon as promised...Im just mad that I am losing so many SPS from the move ( RTN'ing from the base) arggggggggggggg... but here is the pic

are you ssb tanks happy with the set up. What kind of sand are you using and how often are you changing it out?

Dean

I use CaribSea Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand. I started with almost 2 inches now I am done to a inch or less. I am very happy with it. Soon I am going to add another bag to keep up with the dissolving.

That means white sand again...Hurray.
