I noticed small white spots this am on my hippo tnags side and fin, can I treat ick in the tank? I have no QT and want to get rid of it RIGHT NOW before it wipes out my tank. HEEEELLLLPPPPP!

I have successfully treated ich in my tank with the combination of two products - Ich Attack and Rid-Fungus. This will only work on a light infestation, in my experience, but it's worth a try anyway. I have live rock, fish, corals, and inverts and there was no harm to anything. Good luck.

it is only a small outbreak, one fish only so far!

You're gambling by using these products. Not sure what the Rid-Fungus would even do in a parasitic outbreak. The many bottled ich cures are pretty much useless, and there are more failure stories than success stories out there. Try them if you want and keep your fingers crossed. If it doesn't work, you'd do well to set up a quarantine tank and be ready to treat it effectively. Any fish exposed is at risk and all fish need to be treated.

I'm with Jerry. There is no such thing as a small outbreak. No proven methods except copper and hypo to treat fish with ich.
