The only difference i see between these two brands is airwater&ice use 10micron first, where bulkreefsuply use 5micron ,was wondering if that names big difference on water quality ?
Thanks in advance

Using a 10mic first stage filter rather than a 5mic filter only means that particles between 1-10mic get past (as opposed to 1-5mic with the other filter) and then go into your carbon and your RO membrane. So your carbon and RO membrane may get dirty a tiny bit faster than if you used the 5mic filter. If you back flush your RO membrane the very small amount of extra particles that get to it shouldn't make any difference at all to it's useful life. The end result water has passed thru the RO membrane and DI resin so your final water quality will be the same either way. I swap filter brands and filter mic sizes and the end result water is always the same, clean water.

As USC-Fan stated, they are all the same. As long as you are buying the correct size they will all work. You can even get them at Home Depot or Sears though you will pay a lot more. I don't even remember my combination I think I have a 10 micron pre-filter and the carbon is 5 micron. I make from 15 to 25 gals a week and my RO membrane is probably getting close to 3 years old. I usually switch the RO membrane out every 3 years.
