Can it be TRUE :)

Thanks everyone...just an update the fish has been eating fresh clam like a champ! I love how it's black has become completely dark...truely a great fish

wait until their mask fills in completely; you will have a whole different take on these fish. It is truly amazing to look at once it is fully developed.

So much more vibrant than the Meredithi IMO.

Great fish, greats score! Congrats.

I've never heard of them called a scribbled angelfish. When I hear scribbled, I think Chaetodontoplus duboulayi. Not that there are "proper" common names, but is that what you're calling it?

Chris, thanks for the pictures! I wonder what happened to the ones from LA's DD. It's good to see someone is sharing with us! (Although, I could be accused of holding out in one instance).

Also, since I didn't see the actual latin name in this thread, it's C. Personifer, and not to be confused with the relatively common, C. Meredithi!

You are correct in this David...the scientific name of this is the C. Personifer. The common C. Meredithi is similar but very different at the same time.

C. Duboulayi is indeed the scribbled angel...I believe that Chris was tired when he replied ;)

Haha, I figured as much. While I love this hobby, I'll be the first to say he's much more knowledgeable than I!!!
