Can Monti Caps be placed in close proximity to one another?

Can they grow to touch each other without consiquenses, or will one lose out to the other?

NO they should be fine...there is an amazing pics around here of a few different people purposely doing this and they grow into each other and looks very cool.

Thanks reefgeek. That's what I was thinking of doing with two different colors.

There should not be any problems. I have been at a friends house that had massive colonies that were all intertwined. without any consequence.
