according to live aquaria, they require mod to high lighting. I have the standard 260w PC's which I have no problems with a BTA, toadstool, xenia and a few bubble corals. Just wondering if anyone else has been succesful with this under PCs or not. Thanks

I have found M. digitata to grow well under just PCs (7 96w bulbs over 2' x 4' tank). It is one of only three SPS varieties in my tank and they're all high up, but they grow like crazy. They top out right at the water surface which is kind of funny when the rock they're on shifts a little bit--it looks like Flat Top from the old Dick Tracy comics.

The other SPS that has done well in that tank and looks great is a Hydnophora species. I'd recommend it for a PC lighted tank.

the corals you stayted are either softies or LPS both of which dont need crazy light.
the monti dgitata will live, but you wont get great growth or color.
