can my yellow watchman cause reinfection of velvet?

about three weeks ago i lost every single fish in my tank except my yellow watchman goby to velvet. my goby was the only survivor and was completely unaffected by the spread of velvet (no white dots, and was acting and eating normally).do i have to worry about my goby infecting any new fish i may add with velvet? as i understand watchman gobies have a thick slime coat and no scales which keeps them immune from ich and velvet. thanks in advance

as i understand watchman gobies have a thick slime coat and no scales which keeps them immune from ich and velvet. thanks in advance
