Can PLS affect LPS?

As above, can Pink Line Syndrome/Pink Band Disease affect LPS corals? All the info I've read suggests it is a problem of SPS, notably Porites only. But I've recently lost a few different Mussids slowly over months with what looks to be the pink colouration on the skeleton which is associated with PLS. Any info or links would be much appreciated.

I've heard of it with Acanthastrea and one other LPS (forget which genus). Currently, I have something similar going on with one of my Acanthastreas, but I, too, have not experienced this before. The polyps gradually erode back with a remaining pink skeleton. I've tried various dips/fragging with no luck. Sorry.

Sounds identical to what I've been experiencing. I've also tried dipping in iodine, hydrogen peroxide, and aggressive fragging to no avail. I also think it may be contagious. Thanks for the reply.

I've seen it on a favia in LFS.

Thanks for that. Seems as if LPS can contract PLS then. Anyone know of any cures? Anyone tried using antibiotics? From what I've read cyanobacteria are responsible for PLS, in which case a broad spectrum antibiotic may be effective.
