Can salt go bad?

My next purchase of salt was going to be the 160gal Instant Ocean from Drs. Foster and Smith. It is such a good deal. But that much would last me for over a year. If it is sealed properly would it be okay for that long?
Thanks,
Patrick :)

Properly sealed it should last
The problem would be if you are opening it all the time to use some, the moisture may enter each time

Is the 160g the bucket or box?
If box then I would buy a sealable bucket & transfer to the bucket

You could also reseal smaller quantities in bags for storage

IO salt is fine, it was a bad batch... alot of reefers use it.. so long as it the "bucket" you should be fine... just be shure to keep the lid tight when you are done.
