Can someone help me ID this...

What the H is this brown spider web crap!!!! I had it once when I was using egg crate as a frag rack, pulled the rack it went away.... NOW ITS BACK!!!! It's catching on my coral specifically my pink birds nest and killing the growth.... I'm constantly removing this stuff with a pipette from coral...

everything else where its supposed to be, no deaths in the tank that I'm aware of.

Hard to tell from the photo but my guess from the photo is diatoms. Typically a result of silica in your water. Do you or have you used conditioned tap water in the tank at any time?
 
I don't think it's diatoms. It never gets "snotty" just "webby" and there's no bubbles in it. I use only RO and my TDS shows 0 from the DI.
