can someone help me need coralline algae cards for seeding a tank or if i can get scrapings from some one willing to pay for it lr here sucks so started with dry rock

if you are really itching for Coraline GARF grunge is pretty good but you don't really need it....

keep your cal and mag high and the alk to where your ph is good and the Coraline will start showing up. don't be discouraged, as some Coraline will grow and then die off if you change your lighting.

If you want to go a faster way, as long as you have some coraline algae growth on your LR, you can use purple up. Good stuff IMO, some people will disagree with me, has worked well for me.

How high is your calcium ?
If you read the bottle IIRC it says if your calcium is above 400 ppm dont use Purple Up.
I'm pretty sure it's just calcium.

Yeah it's calcium and mag with agronite sp? dust .... so you can do the same thing by just elevating your cal and mag. It does provide a dusting of the agronite which raises those levels in locally where it settles in your tank.

Just tested my ca the other day and it's at 420ppm, I don't dose it anymore, it's a good starter for people that want a boost. Like I said, others disagree, I have nothing negative with the product or the way I was dosing when I first used it.
