It's not a case of being "overstocked", but your tank is much too small for your goldflake angel. She/he needs to be in a tank that is at least 125g, preferably larger. You should return the goldflake and pick a smaller fish that is more appropriate for the size of your tank.

Huh well I don't wanna give it away it's a cool fish it was expensive and it eats pellets too. I wanted a regal because those are my favorite, could i add any more fish to this tank?

No, you cannot add more fish to that tank with that fish in it. That fish may have been expensive, but it will die in that tank. It will be an expensive loss.

well the only thing that makes me skeptical is that he seems to have swimming room and he also seems happy i guess. I really like my fish. I just want him to have a friend because I have nobody to sell him to for right now
Do you think a regal and him could be friends? Or would they fight? Even if i got a small regal

A regal angel also needs to be in a tank that is at least 125g, preferably larger. So, no, you can't add a small regal, or any other fish. As I said above, you need to return the goldflake. Most LFS will give credit when you return a fish and you can use that credit to buy a more appropriate fish. If your LFS doesn't give credit, that's unfortunate, but the goldflake can't survive long term in your tank.

Sadly if you don't upgrade your tank or get rid of your fish... He's going to get stressed, get ich or some other disease, and then die....

The fish barely has room to turn around for Gods sake... Get him a new home please. :)

i think if you're gonna go for a regal tang, might as well get a pair. also, for color and movement, i would add a 14-18 fish harem of anthias (lyre-tail). and a sea turtle.

I sense sarcasm... In all honesty that is an awesome fish; however you are doing it a major disservice. Imaging putting a doberman pinscher in a cage for a chihuahua

Maybe a regal angel and a couple anthias? Then i think my tank will be full. Like i said he still swims around it seems like he has plenty of room

What a joke. Why come here just to upset people? Your tank is too small for anything but a goby or a clown. House fish in the appropriate size tank. UGH:debi:

super retard 'aquarist'..to put such a large angel in that small box, then chiming in for 'consultation'.......:mad2:

This has to be a troll.

Even as a qt tank its too small for that fish.
And a Regal angel will die a quick death in that tank. No rock to pick at to at least give it a chance of survival.
