They can handle Cupramine ......if it is done right. By your question I can only assume you have not done this before. Some great reading is in definite order. I would type it all out for you but it is a lot. WetWebMedia has a lot of this info already. You definitely need to feed the fish. Garlic soak and VitaChem added to food would help as well. This all needs to be done in a tank that has no coral, no gravel, NOTHING WITH CALCIUM CARBONATE in it. This will soak up the copper and render the treatment useless. But the answer to both your questions is a resounding YES. I would recommend a large tank...like at least 55 gallons for this treatment.
