Can Tank Raised Clowns Take to an Anemones

Tang tank

I have 2 tr percs in my 75 gallon. I would like to eventually add an anemones, will they take to it? Or is it unlikely?
Also is it true that if you lose an anemones that it could cause your tank to crash?

IMO/E there won't be any difference.

The 2 pairs of tank raised clowns I've had over the years where hosted by anemones. The first pair was Clarkii -- can't remember how long it took them, since it was about 14 years ago. The pair pair was saddlebacks (( A. polymnus )), they took about an hour to be hosted by an S. Haddoni (( natural host )).

In a nutshell, yes to both questions. The percs will take to one of their natural hosts, just make take some time.

Depends on the size of the anemone. If it's small, probably not. If it's a big carpet, then its very possible to overload your tank with waste.

Yes tank raised will be hosted, it can be fast or it can take a long time.I have a pair of Picassos that have had a Purple Malu for months, and havent even looked at the nem. My wife has a pair of tank raised blackfoots (a. Nigrapes) that went into a Sabae by the second night the nem was in the tank.
