I am changing to a LiteMeter 3 (LM3) as the top off pump because I run kalk and find that the check values seem to clog often and need constant monitoring and cleaning. I would like to adopt the Osmolator to control a small 12 v relay which will control when the LM3 pump is allowed to run. The issue is that the LM3 is a dosing pump which doses on a 9 minute cycle (so it is possible that the pump will not have been cycled on to dose before the 5 minutes is up; shutting down the 12v).
Do you know this is this an easy modification (e.g., a jumper) or am I on my own modifying the control (at my own risk)?
I'm want to use the Osmolator because I like the optical sensor over a float. I use the high-water float and a Tunze Water-Level Alarm to protect from flooding so I'm not worried about loosing the 5 min protection circuit.
