I just went through checkout on fosters and smith for a buckett of salt and for shipping I paid 8.99, if I look in the cataog it shows as a special fee shipping and you have to call in to get the correct amount but if you buy online its just the standard!?!? can this be right?

I think they said that they did away with the additional weight charge for salt, maybe other heavy things as well?

I bought some salt and other stuff from them before Christmas and shipping was free.

yup!!! and I just got off the phone with a customer service rep and found out that they did away with weight charges on shipping!!!wooohooo!!!!! I will never buy salt in a lfs again.....lol, or live rock!
