Can u house 2 mantis shrimp together?

Not that simple particularly when you don't specify the species and sizes of the animals. THis topic has been treated dozens of times in this forum and the answer is pretty much always the same - they may coexist for quite awhile, but sooner or later there is going to be trouble particularly in a tank as small as a 20 gal. (Exception: a male and female lysiosquillid that form as a monogamous pair.)

The reason I was asking is because the LFS has 2 of them at 10.00 each. I guess I was jumpimg the gun, I'll just get one. I will get pic of of the on I buy to ID it. And to see if it is m or f.

I'm glad i saw this post, I'm fixing to add one to my 20. I found another one as a hitchiker. I think I'll add a tank divider.
