my phosphates on my garage ghetto tank are very high at 0.41ppm.
mostly softies in there: 2 large nems, rics, true umi blue xenias, acans, scolys.
clams are 11" squam, 8" gold max, 5" gold teardrop, 3" blue max and three 4" croceas.
my 'concern' is that i will be moving the inhabitants to a new set up in my office (to replace the 125g fowlr). new water, new rocks (cycled of course since i have over 600 lbs on standby
).
would moving from 0.41 ppm to low po4 hurt the clams?
at the moment, the clams appear to be very healthy with a lot of growth and mantle expansion etc. moves ALWAYS worry me.
oh, this WILL have to be in there as well per my wifes' "gentle" request.
reef authenticity all the way!!!
