can you keep different Anemones together or will the sting each other

You shouldn't keep two in one tank as they will sting each other if one moves close enough and even the chemical warfare can be a problem. They do best in a tank of their own.

Yes true....BUT there are plenty of people on here who do it including me:)
You have a 135 gallon tank which if you place them properly and the stay put you should be okay. I run carbon 24/7 incase there are any chemical warfare going on but i have had 2 lta's and a carpet in my tank for a long time with no issues. I would love to take on a bta but the wander a little to much for me and i would like to keep my anemones that i have:)

I am sure others will chime in on there tanks as we'll. YOu just need to take the proper precautions i think.

I have a 40 gal wirh a GBTA, RBTA, LTA, Condy, Sebae and two other kinds im not sure of. All do fine together, I also run carbon 24/7 and do 15% water change every week. All the anemones are fed heavily so they dont move. There has been some fighting but nothing too bad, all seem to know their place.

thanks guys. jeveo thats what i was going to do was get a fourty breeder and make six sections with egg crate. and get six kinds of Anemones. thanks

Interesting, I'd love to see pictures of this. One mistake I made was not planning for anemones, actually it was supposed to be a reef tank, so I set the rock work for coral, but I can't seem to keep coral, wheras anems. thrive!

I have three different anemones right together. They have been that way for 6 months. They all moved there on their own. Plus the rose just split, giving me a soft ball size baby! So far all are doing very well. Tina

I believe so......as they were sold to me. I didnt originally want that many. I only wanted one. My clown is about 5 or 6 inches(only thing that survived the hurricane)in which she lost her home. I was trying to get a large enough one for her to host. She harrassed the first one I got till it was almost dead. So, I bought another so she would leave it alone. It worked and the original anemone got bigger. Then I ran across the rose and loved it. Now there are three. ohh....four since the split. She also has a mate and they lay eggs on a cycle. Tina

Ahh i thought so. Since bubbletips are all the same species they do tend to get along, its other species that cause problems. My huge GBTA got stung by a tiny condy and had to give way.
