Can you overfeed a RBTA?

I have what i guess would be a medium sized rose that i got from blue zoo, ive had it for about a 3 weeks, today it looked kinda sad but its mouth was bubbled up like when it usually is hungry. So i fed it half a silverside like usual, looked in on it again about an hour later, still looked the same, so i fed it another half. I waited again, fed it ANOTHER half. a few mins after that it fully inflated to its normal beauty. I know i didnt here since i dont feed every day, but im just wondering, can you really give it too much or will it just let go of the food if it doesnt want any?

just be on the lookout for half pieces of silversides to be floating around the tank! I'm sure he'll cough them back up. That seems like alot.

Yep
its only about 5 1/2" across max

heres a pic from when i first got it.

They will eat when they get the chance, so yes, you absolutely can overfeed an anemone. If it was me, I'd stick to 1/4" pieces of meaty foods every other day.

Too much food can lead to a couple of major problems, the first being that the anemone regurgitates them, not getting any nutrients out of it and fouling up your water quality. Another is that if consistently overfed, the food will begin to decay inside the anemone before it can be fully digested, which can eventually lead to the death of your anemone.

I feed mine a couple pieces of krill every couple days, is that too much? I've never fed silversides before so I don't know how those compaire to krill.

That thing is kinda small.... I would do half silverside only every couple of days.... Mine is lie 3x bigger then that and sometimes I worry that the silverside was too big for it.

well it still hasn't coughed anything back up but im gonna wait about 3-4 days before i feed again and ill go back to the smaller amount every other day or so.
