Can anyone recommend softies that like high flow?

I ran across some aquacultured gorgonians (scientificcoral.com) and the guy there says he keeps them with softies in high flow.

Anything else?

Thanks for any tips!

Every coral in my tank is in high flow...

I've got the regular xenia, gsp, kenya (kenya is in a lower flow spot though).

But stuff like leathers like good flow it seems. Specially fiji yellows. My green toadstool is right by a seio 620 and is getting pretty strong flow.

I normally run at like 30 times (or close) but lately its dropped down to 20 cuz i had a powerhead die.

I've got a 55 gal. primarily softy tank with 2 Seio 1100's that alternate between about 20x turnover and 40x. The Softies are getting blasted and they love it. Excellent Polyp Extensions and growth. Even my mushrooms don't seem to mind.

Pretty much any leather should thrive under high flow, as well as most other softies.

True, but you'd be surprised how much flow they can handle as well.

It's all about creating "micro-climates", a horticulture term, but I'll borrow it anyway :)

My two Seios are placed behind the rock that my LPS reside on, facing down the tank towards the Softies. They still see a decent amount of flow from the water being drawn into the Seio's, but most of the flow is directed at the Soft corals.

Really interesting. I'm psyched to try it out. There's a picture of this one amazing european tank full of sun corals in one of the Sprung books (Volume III, I think). Really amazing when they do well. Clearly has a lot to do with feeding and flow.

Thanks for the tips!

aren't many soft corals found in the same reef areas as SPS... i know i've seen pictures of them competing for space in the wild.

let's face, i think everything in the reef likes a lot of flow... soft corals can survive lower flow, though, so they have an incorrect reputation implying low flor is what they need.
