can zoas only tank had no skimmer ?? thanks for suggestion ...

No need to dose Iodine. They will do fine without it. Amino acid is good for them.

To the OP. Skimmer is a must have piece of equipment for any reef keeper.

They'll do fine without iodine and without aminos too.

Both (iodine and aminos) will make the zoas healthier though.
I dose both and recommend.

Your skimmer is one of the most important pieces of equipment youll buy IMO. A MUST HAVE. I went without one for a while when I started in the hobby and looking back I cant believe anything survived.
 
I currently don't running a skimmer and my Zoas are doing very well. But I'm in the process of designing a new sump and I plan on adding a skimmer because I'll have more then enough room. Plus I figure that it can't hurt.
