I was told by my lfs that this was a condylactis. Is that correct? Also, I've done a little research but can't seem to find alot of info on these anemones. Is there anything special I should know about caring for it? uploadfromtaptalk1422143888751.jpg

Yep, that's a condy, and a nice purple one at that.
First thing you should probably know if that they are not natural host anemones and can be fish eaters at times. There have been some instances where they host clowns but I wouldn't risk it.
But other than that, they are very hardy as anemones go. They can also have a tendency to go on walk-about like BTA's on occasion.

Thanks, that's kind of what I've been reading. I don't intend for it to host a clown. I think it has found a happy spot and hopefully won't move much more. On a good note, I put the sponge on my mp10 just in case.

A. clarkii or some of its close relatives might accept them - especially clarkii accept nearly every anemone.
I had a A chrysogaster in an anemone that I think was the tropical equivalent to Actinia equina (or it may have been an actual Actinia equina).
