Candy cane has weird growth on it *Need help*!!!!!

Have been watching this for about 2 months candy cane was full and happy now seems constantly depressed. This is the second trumpet coral to have this growth on it seems to be effecting it negatively. Will post pictures of said creature. Let's out clear threads from top that are annoying trumpet and attaching to rocks. Cannot find anything that looks like this on any form please help me identify this possible pest in my tank before it effects my other stony corals.

A best guess is that you have a vermetid snail, which can cause annoyance when they attach too close to a coral. Just snip it off. If they reach plague proportions, you may be overfeeding.
